Married with four children, two girls, currently living in New Zealand and two boys, who have lived away, but are both back at home now.  Part time IT Tutor for Pembrokeshire College and part time Badminton Development Coach and Tutor for the Welsh Badminton Union.

He is on the Joint twinning committee with Pembroke Town Council and the Memorial Park Group.  Also Chairman of the Pembroke Dock Web Project steering committee and Trustee of the Pater Hall Community Trust.

Runs the local Junior Badminton Club with his wife Linda, and also runs an after school Badminton club, a Junior Club in Haverfordwest and the County Squad.

Other interests include walking (In recent years – The Inca Trail and Mt Toubkal, the highest mountain in North Africa), gardening and almost all sports (apart from synchronised swimming!).
